5 Things to Ask Yourself When You Start to Self-Doubt

Last week, I posted about Imposter Syndrome, and how to recognize it. Now that we know what it is, here are 5 questions to ask yourself that will help you kick self-doubt to the curb the moment you start to feel it creep in: ⠀

1. Where is this thought coming from? Identify what is making you feel this way. Is it a promotion? Have you been asked to lead a project or

interview for a new job? Once you've figured out what's triggering you, you can begin to address it. ⠀

2. Is there any evidence to support this? Chances are, your thoughts are not reflective of reality. If you've done something before, you can do it again. If you earned something, it's because 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙩 - it wasn't luck or happenstance. ⠀ 3. Do I believe in the people who believe in me? The people who have offered you opportunities and stood behind you are intelligent people. If you respect their judgment, respect the fact that you deserve to be where you are. ⠀ 4. What have I already accomplished? Tell your story! Write it down as if you were creating a bio. Everything you have written is true. Own your success!

5. What would happen if I went for it anyway?
